Gucci Ace Low Top 2017 – Animal Silhouettes
Gucci continues their tradition of always re-releasing their new basic sneaker. The newest edition of the Gucci Ace Low Top 2017 portrays itself with animal embroideries. Though these have been out for a couple months, I just wanted to share with everyone since I tried them on the other day. I thought Alessandro Michele, the creative director of Gucci decided in a simpler manner to add some very nicely embroidered on animal designs this time around by adding new ideas of tigers, snakes, and bees to the collection.
I slipped on the red bee design the other day and definitely enjoyed the style of the shoe. The leather is really soft and I think is a refreshing look to the what seems like everyday release of new luxe sneakers. Since the leather if so soft I do feel they will crease rather easy, but sometimes thats what you’ll deal with for the extra comfort. Each show carries the standard stripe motif on the side of every Gucci sneaker and a nice contrasting back-heel design. When you flip over the Gucci Ace Low Top you will also notice a rather unique design of a knight, almost like a family crest emblazoned on the bottom of each shoe. Hopefully that holds up over time with wear and tear.
I do believe Gucci also sells some belts that can be paired up with the new Gucci Ace Low Top. So if you do have the money to splurge definitely do think about the whole outfit. The new Gucci Ace Low Top retails between $550 – $620. On top of the three animal designs some of the models will also come in white or black. The bee coming in the exclusive red and snake coming in the exclusive green. Try on a pair at your local high-end retailer and see them for yourself. You’ll probably end up walking out with a pair.
