Modern Penthouse in the Skies of Beirut
We all dream of having large houses with all the extravagant features one could imagine. Bernard Khoury only uplifts those expectations and dreams to a new level. What looks like a Starfox fortress from a distance, is a wonderfully modern and aesthetic looking piece of architecture. This three-story apartment located in Beirut, sits on Plot #2251 project and also happens to be situated on the former demarcation line of East and West Beirut. The historical geographical location gives a grand view of the city instead of the sea, giving the viewer a stronger vibe of the city life Beirut has to offer.
The apartment which includes a mezzanine level, encompasses glamour in every aspect from its steel-grazing bridges that cross overhead an elegant library right below. As seen from the pictures a wide set of clear windows bring in an abundant amount of light to bring out the grandeur of the library and accentuate all the modernistic furniture situated within it. One could hang out in this library room all day long. No problems.
Wood paneling encompasses many walls throughout the apartment, as it does along this spiral staircase. The spiral staircase is another nice feature added in to the 4000 sq.ft apartment. With a total of four bedrooms and seven bathrooms, there is plenty of space to cozy up in. As it is on the ninth and last level of the apartment complex it does get to enjoy the penthouse level, which Bernard Khoury made sure to make a big splash upon.
The beautiful terrace of this apartment will probably make ever penthouse owner think twice about redesigning their own crib. With the extended out lights that jut out like cannons and huge pool its hard to imagine what could make the level even more astonishing. Perhaps you may now think about putting Beirut as a city to visit…and maybe to live in?
